The service
Cite11 is provided by Legal Search Hub LLC. It checks case-law citations in text you submit against the public court record and reports what it found. By using the service you agree to these terms.
What a result means
Cite11 verifies that citations exist and resolve to the case named; it does not report whether a case is still good law. A result reflects the public record as indexed at the moment of the check. The public record has real limits: very recent opinions, unpublished decisions, and citations numbered by commercial databases may not be in it, and the service reports those as outside its coverage rather than guessing. Results can be wrong in both directions; our measured accuracy, including every error, is published on the benchmark page. Confirm any result that matters in a primary source before relying on it.

Nothing this service produces is legal advice, and using it creates no attorney–client relationship with Legal Search Hub LLC. Your professional obligations — including any duty of reasonable inquiry under court rules — remain entirely yours.
Your responsibilities
Submit only documents you have the right to submit. Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, probe or disrupt the service, or access it by automated bulk means. We may limit or refuse service to protect capacity for everyone else.
Free use and paid features
Current free allowances (such as daily single-citation lookups) may change. Paid features, when offered, will state their own price and terms at the point of purchase.
Documents and reports
A submitted filing is read once for its citations and is not retained. The resulting report is stored so you can return to it. Availability is capacity-limited and not guaranteed to be uninterrupted.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legal Search Hub LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and its total liability for any matter arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the matter (zero, for free use).
Changes
These terms may be updated by posting a revised version here with a new date. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the revised terms.
